Thomas Imms is on my grandpa's family tree. My grandpa was Sidney Imms Prodgers. Grandpa and his sister (He never knew about) were born to Louisa Jane Mersey Pusey (Prodgers) and William Edward Imms. Imms was a married man when he became involved with Louisa and they lived together as husband and wife for six years, in which she bore him two children. When grandpa was one years old William left Louisa to fend for herslf and the children. When grandpa was two years old- two months she wrote to the Barnardo orphanage to take Sidney as she had sold her house, and most of her furniture and could no longer feed both of the children. Louisa kept Hollie Imms Prodgers and she placed Sidney Imms Prodgers in the orphanage. When grandpa was 11 years old he was sent to Canada and placed on a farm ( these children became known as British Home Children ) My grandpa only told my dad and his sisters that he grew up in an orphanage and that when he was 14 he came to Canada. I have recently received my grandpa's orphanage file and his father name was in it. William Edward Imms. I have traced him back to Thomas Leonard Imms. Would love to have a copy of the Grave site, I would be forever grateful for your time and kindness in doing such a service to myself. Forever Grateful: Janet Prodgers-Fair
